1945 – Mid-South Sales was started in Helena, Arkansas by M.O. Rasberry

1962 – Mid-South Sales becomes incorporated (Mid-South Sales, Inc.)

1968 – Bought Tapp Palmer Oil Company in Marianna, Arkansas

1974 – Built first self-serve gasoline station in Helena, Arkansas

1979 – Purchased McGaugh Oil Company in Hughes, Arkansas

1981 – Purchased F.E. Scott Oil Company in Blytheville, Arkansas

1995 – Bought lubricants business from South Arkansas Oil Company in Pine Bluff, Arkansas

1998 – Sold 20 convenience stores and 2 truck stops in Eastern Arkansas to concentrate on wholesale oil and fuel business.

2000 – Started building new bulk oil and fuel plants which now include the 7 locations in Arkansas

Jonesboro – Blytheville – West Memphis – Helena/West Helena – Little Rock/Pine Bluff – Marked Tree – Crawfordsville

2001 – Purchased Matthews Oil Company in Jonesboro, Arkansas

2005 – Purchased Lone Star wholesale fuel business in Jonesboro, Arkansas

2012 – Purchased the assets of Ritter Oil Company in Marked Tree, Arkansas

2015 – December 1 – Acquired assets related to Industrial Lubricants Inc. of Memphis, TN

2019 – MSS sold to Cadence Petroleum Group of Asheboro, NC. (www.cadencepetroleum.com)
